Why I am a Bush hater? (Discussion)

The answer is very simple. Due to his stupid, meaningless foreign policy. Especially, He did horrible job on Iraq policy. War on Terror was life saver for his political life. Because, nobody concentrated on his internal policies and economic developments. Public support was historical high after September 11 and during Afghanistan war. Also foreign mainstream media and public were with the US during this time and so did I. Even there were civilian casualties in Afghanistan the war necessary to get rid of Taliban regime and El-Qaeda. I strongly believe that Osama Bın-Ladın is a terrorist and must be punished. That’s why you can see all NATO forces in Afghanistan including Germans, French, and Turks.

Until the Iraq war, I just did not like Mr. Bush. But when Iraq was coming to headlines, I start to question his abilities and him seriously. First, he claimed that Weapon of mass destruction threat. It was the biggest argument of his Iraq policy. World took it very seriously, but UN inspection team revealed that first gulf war destroyed Iraq WMD ability. But, Bush administration produced fake documents to proved this lie. But, due to Saddam image, given for years by the US media, everybody was sure about WMD. This dictator was hiding them in the desert. After the attack, even US committee admitted that There was no WMD in Iraq. Nobody is talking about WMD today. What else to say?

Secondly, this was the war on terror and terrorist attacked to US at 9/11. Terrorists must be punished and that is why US should attack to Iraq. But there is no any connection between 9/11 and Iraq. Due to misinformation given by the US government and media, %70 of the US public believes that Iraq attacked to Twin Towers. But here is fact, Twin towers destroyed by Saudi terrorists known by years. If you want to retaliate the 9/11, the right places to attack are Afghanistan (I mentioned above) and Saudi Arabia. Can Mr. Bush attack to Saudi Arabia? Of course not!!! King of Saudis is best friend of his father. He has lots of oil interest in Saudi Arabia. USA is selling billions of dollars worth weapon systems. Did you hear anything about 9/11 and Iraq connections lately? What else to say?

After these facts come to public, What Mr. Bush said? Saddam is a very bad man and US will free the Iraqi people and Democracy will rise in the Middle East. Yes!!! Saddam is a very bad man. I agree that. But Mr. Bush never talked about democracy and freedom before the attack. This was the new argument for him. Because, he could not say the two arguments I mentioned anymore. But, this is also a very big lie. If you are striving for democracy, why did you save Kuwait which is absolute monarchy? Why do you have strong relationships with the Saudi family? Women can not drive and con not vote in Saudi Arabia. Why did you lift the sanctions against to Pakistan non-democratic government which has nuclear ability? All these show that democracy is not in Bush agenda.

According to latest number almost 2,000 US solders and 30,000 Iraqi died in Iraq war. What was the reason for these lives taken? WMD? 9/11 connections? Democracy? I can not find the answer. That’s why I am a Bush hater. If you know the answers please let me know and I will stop hate this guy. I promise.

Dear Mr.Sumbas,
My,my,my, how mixed up can one person be?? Obviously you are, from the tone of your post, a liberal pinhead, and a mixed up one at that!!! Lets take your attack one step at a time and try to answer some of your ignorant questions!! I see that you are a victim like so many americans of the press and tv. When will you get the idea through your head that you can't always belive what you see or hear in the media. First off don't forget that our buddy Bill Clinton was the first to fire shots into Afghanistan, I believe they were cruise missiles and they destroyed a church and school house. Now move a little forward and Bush comes into the presidency. Saddam has training camps all over Iraq out in the dessert, the Saudi men that hi-jacked the aircraft and flew them into the twin towers killing over 25,000 people, came from these camps before coming into the U.S., Saudi or not they were still Al Queda extremists and along with bin Laden were supported by Saddam. Saddam if you also remember, was playing with deadly nerve gas along the Iraqi/Turkey border and killed thousands of Kurd's, not one, not ten, not hundred's, THOUSANDS!!!! His ethnic clensing kept up and after the U.S. invaded we found mass graves, also with THOUSANDS. Total so far is over 250,000 to date plus more and you bitch about WMD??? You bitch about 30,000 dead Iraqi's?? By the way I we haven't passed the 1700 mark for U.S. soldiers dead and in any case if someone hasn't clued you in the idea of war is to kill people and break things and we are doing it well and if you ask me an 18 to one kill ratio for our Soldiers is damn good. (18 of theirs to one of ours). We needed to get in there and take him out, and in case you don't know the American Soldiers found underground bunkers and tunnels that stretch for miles under the city of Bagdad and all along the Syrian/Iraqi border going from Iraq into Syria. And also who is Syria's little play friend?? Turkey who likes to sell weapons to them!! Russian and American weapons!! And lets talk about our buddy Osama Bin Laden....Al Queda gassed the Tokyo subway with ricin gas and also in case you forgot he bombed the World Trade Center once then he came back for more by destroying the Twin Towers. If you ask any N.Y. firefighter or N.Y. policeman if they hate Bush for going over there, you'll be hard pressed to find one. You go to a V.A. and ask any soldier coming back after looking into their eyes and asking if it was worth going over there to restore the freedom and democracy to Iraq is worth it, they will tell you that yes it is. The towers were destroyed 9 months into the Bush presidency and I for one think he handled it damn well. The Afganistan and Iraqi invasion came also in his first term. Having to come up with policies to protect us here at home and eliminate the overseas threat at the same time, I still think he is doing well and I praise the man because he was baptised by fire during his presidency. We had to get past the UN to take Saddam out and during all that time it took, Iraq moved Its WMD to Syria, and as far as your attack on his foreign policy goes The French sold plans for a breeder reactor to Pakistan and India got theirs from us. The French also sold plans and had advisors in place to oversee the construction of reactors in Iran and in Iraq!!!Their we traces of radiation in bomb making facilities in Iraq found by UN inspection teams....thats why they were kicked out the first time. The trace radiation was produced by enough radiactive material to make several "dirty bombs" by Iraq. Scud missiles were just the right platform to deliver them. Refusal of U.S. and UN sanctions alone was enough for the U.S. to invade. We gave Saddam over 10 years to conform. And by the way the French forces are not fighting in Afganistan, they want nothing to do with this little war. If they are there they are there in support positions only (shuffling papers)and shaking in their boots. Next time you meet a U.S. veteran you might want to shake his hand and say thank you for providing the very freedom that allows you to hate his Commander in Chief, George W. Bush. I think you ought to spend a little more time trying to find reasons to support your president and this country instead of hating it! Don't you think this would be more of a constructive attitude?
The election is over....the democrats lost....get over it and this hate thing and try a little constructive thinking for once, and please find the off button on your TV....you watch to much of it!!!

Mr. New Port Richey,
I do not know your name, that's why I like to call this way. I read your comment and find some common ground with you. Also, some disagreements that I will mention.
First, your media claim. It is true media and TV makes people blind like you. You watch embedded Journalist during the war. They were unable to report everything. They reported what government wants. All the information you are getting coming from state departments. I strongly suggest you follow other media (Like European and Arabic) to see both side claims.
The point I want to correct you is there is no Al-Qaeda / Iraq relationship at all. This is proven by US senate investigation report. There is no terrorist training camp in Iraqi dessert. This is Mr. Bush day dream to cheat public. Have you seen any photo of these training camps.
Thousands of Kurds got killed after the first Gulf War. That is true and that is why Saddam is a war criminal. But, what did US government (Senior Bush Admin) do for these Kurds that time. Nothing! The sarin gas Saddam used was supplied by the USA during the Iran-Iraq war to Saddam. Your buddy Rumsfeld was shaking hand with his friend Saddam that time. Because, Saddam was very innocent that time right???? I am bitching about WMD (Your words) but there was no WMD at Iraq. This is also reported by US government and Army. Did you any photo of WMD? Please e-mail me. The ratio 18 to 1 which you created is not but side military causalities. US military vs. Iraqi civilians. You can proud that ratio. I respect every soldier that do his/her job with dignity. Not the ones who tortured Iraqi’s in Abu-Garib. They are the puppet, that’s why I hate Mr. Bush. He is the responsible person from these crime. Also, your funny claim is Turkey selling Russian weapons to Syria and Iraq. Turkey is secular-Democratic, NATO member Alliance. Turkey does not have Russian Weapon systems. How did you get that information? There is no weapon trade between Turkey and other you said. US giving all kind of weapon system to Turkey, because there is a 75 years of friendship between Turkey and US. Turkey was in Somalia, Turkey was in Afghanistan. During the first gulf war US war planes used the American Military base in Turkey. Mr. Bush was going to use that same base again and also Turkish army was going to help US-British forces as planned but Turkish Parliament reject the offer. It was democracy lesson to all World. Finally, Tokyo, Al-Qaeda relationship I heard first time ever. Every terrorist attack is belonging to Al-Qaeda lately. If you read my original posting little bit carefully, I am constructive, I support his afghan move even I do not like him. But Iraq war explains everything to me.
I really appreciate your comment, I like to hear from you anytime and on any subject. Also I live in Clearwater and work Holiday. We are very close (Not politically but geographically). I hope your eyes will be open and see the fact about Bush family.
